Australian Grand Prix

So, the results are in from the Australian Grand Prix… and I am pleased to announce that the highest scorer in the group is also top of the overall Grid Bids standings… not bad for a rookie, eh Paul?

Anyway, before I go on to the results from the Australian Grand Prix, a few quick statistics for you:

  • The highest possible Grid Bids score in Australia: 84 – Vettel, Hamilton, Petrov, Alonso, Webber. Buemi. Paul scored 79, so only 5 off the best possible;
  • Most valuable driver: Buemi. Scored four points, but only cost one point. Schumacher, Heidfeld and Rosberg were all costly picks;
  • Most picked driver – Vettel. Everyone who picked, picked Vettel. Quelle surprise…
  • Only two people picked Petrov, and whilst his third place wasn’t the best value-for-money pick, with little difference in picks at the top end of the table, it was the deciding factor at the very top! Only three people picked Button, compared to seven who picked Hamilton.

So, without further ado, here are the race results, with race score in brackets, followed by the championship score for the event:
